Bipolar ?

Recently my wife who is 40 yoa has become very sexually aggressive, Eratic in her behavior,she would take 2 tylenol pms and a flexiril to sleep and she only sleeps for 4-5 hours. She has become very irrational and she talks down to people and she feels like she is always right. She has been drinking hard alcohol like scotch when she has never drank this before. She was also taking my pain meds.She also is shopping and spending money and trying to take out loans for large sums of money to improve the house. Now she is accusing me of things like physical and emotional abuse over the last 5 years. We have been married for 19 years and we had a very wonderful marrige. Her Brother committed suicide years ago and her mother was placed in a mental health facility where she passed away. The mother was diagnosed with Bipolar and she was also Paronoid. I fear my wife has become her mother and she is destroying our family. What is wrong with her.

she is exhibiting bi polar behaviors. you will have to somehow to convince her that she needs professional help from a psychiatrist to get evaluated and then get a therapist to help her.My husband told me it was get help or he was outta there,Ichose to get help. but your wife has to want to get the help.I will keep her and you in my prayers.It is a difficult thing to love a bi polar but your wife can lead a normal life with the right therapy and meds. I am living proof of that. If you like I could talk to her. Just have her message me if she wants .I will help anyway I can.

Thanks Venora but I am already out of the house. She had me charged on a Domestic assault and then she violated the no contact order when she threw my belongings into a dumpster and she was arrested. Her family knows she is ill but they refuse to get involved. She has the house and kids and I am worried she will do something to herself or god forbid the kids. She has been acting strange since the beginning of Sept then she spiked high in the end of October. She has had depression since I have known her,  when will she come down and go intio the depression stage of this disease? I want to help her and she realizes this that is why she is trying so hard to keep me away from her. How can you help someone who doesn't want you to help and her family thinks she is just acting wild and crazy. You just don't fall out of love after 19 years of a wonderful marrige. I love my wife more then anything in this world and I can feel myself slipping deeper into the abyss I want to help but my hands are tied.
