Bipolar

by fozzybare77, Nov 15, 2007 05:34PM
I found a small bump next to my voice box which could be a thyroid issue.  I know that can affect my bipolar or so I read.  Anyone have any thoughts.

Thanks
Colleen

get it checked out.Yes it can affect your bi polar.I had a substernal goiter taken out last year and it had cancer. so get it checked out.How are you feeling otherwise. hve you had thyroid blood tests done. the main thing that affects the bi polar is when you have too much thyroid hormone or not enough.   bi polars run a high risk of having thyroid issues. If you have any more thyroid questions come over to the thyroid forum. there are lots of wonderful folks there that can answer your questions.
Love venora
