So my boyfriend and I just got into a big fight because I asked him for a favor. I asked that at his friends bday party that he check up on me to see if i was bored or anything. He got upset and told me i ask for 2much. He left without me because I decided not to go. He said it didn't really matter if I went or not..That made me feel bad..He is so mean with his words and I dont know how to make him stop. Do you think i was asking for too much??He says he cant always hold my hand like a little girl...

I'd give it some time and think back on it. If he always acts in a way that is disrespectful then that would make sense to react that way. If not sometimes its appropriate to set emotional boundaries. You could talk it over with your therapist or both of you could depending but its best to look at it in the overall picture of things. I remember you posted that you were stressed out thinking about going to the party so the whole event in itself might have been difficult for you and set off emotional trigger points but every person is capable of judging for themselves and knows the specifics as well as the particular people.
