Blowing off steam

I don't have a question, just need to blow off steam... A person I once thought was a friend, has finally severed our relationship. We have known each other for about 15 yrs and she has seen me at my worst. She made a remark once to my husband that she hoped "She'd never end up like me" !! I thought it was ironic then when she ended up on Lexapro and xanax. Recently we had a business deal where as she was going to ride a horse for me for 30 days and get the horse into shape. I paid her for this and everything the horse needed. She sent the horse up to me with only 3 rides on her ( one of them I did) and now I have to send her out for another 30 day course at not a creap cost. She admits that she didn't ride her but has not offered to refund any money. This morning I talked to her and she made a crack tha tI should lose some weight in that 30 days and exercise. I DO exercise and my weight gain has been mostly because of my meds. I HAVE TRIED LOSING WEIGHT. Does she think I LIKE being this big?? I am so hurt that I NEVER want to have contact with her again. Why are people so cruel??

People sometimes say hurtful things when they feel bad about themselves like bullies.
What she has said about you and her actions were innapropriate, I think you are right to break contact with her regardless of how long you've been friends.
