Disability and Manic Depression

My Brother is 54 years old and is Manic. He has never had a job. Our Mother was his caregiver, she died 2 years ago now his money is gone and I can't afford to help him. Can he get a disability check so he does not loose his house that she left him?

he will have to go threw the social security takes about 12 monthes..mine was 18 monthes the shrink didnt turn in the paperwork..good luck my freind

I have ms and Bi polar. I applied for dissabillaty 3 times and was denied the 4th time I applied my lawyer had me include bipolar. the 4th time it was allowed. I don't know if this helps but good luck.
