Doc slammed with a hit in my medical records...

I have been having some serious medical issues aside from being bipolar. So I was put in the hospital several time and I have gotten quiet the work up. Sadly one doctor sad I was suffering from hypercondriasis. This bother me deeply and set my mood down low. I am not out chasing doctors or ambulances but this will no make any doctor treating me look at me like a seeker... I just want the quality of life I used to have back.

the doc that wrote the report actually wrote I was shopping, I went to two hospitals by amulance more than 8 times all with severe lung problems. I have copd and aat, this whole thing has set me in a mixed phase.

I can completely relate. Once a doctor finds out that I have bipolar disorder, their facial expression changes as well as their demeanor. I went to the doctor with strep throat, pink eye, and a severe lung infection all at the same time and wasn't taken seriously - I had to go elsewhere. I have had other more serious problems regarding my heart and liver and still do not get respect. It makes me regret seeking help for this disorder. I am sorry you are going through this. Just hang in there. If you are able to, keep "shopping" around for a better physician.
