Father Bipolar

I forgot to add...
that i tend to look very deep into things.The majority of the time i have a negitive attitude, for example when someone says or does something i normally take it the wrong way. And i end up upsetting myself. i also have emotional breakdowns quite often, and think about the worst things/situations.

Much of what you described could be the symptoms of bipolar And it can be inherited. I have schizoaffective disorder and my mother has cyclothymia (mild bipolar). Only a psychiatrist could provide an exact diagnosis but it would be worth seeing one. Bipolar is very treatable. One way to help your psychiatrist make a conclusive diagnosis is to keep a mood tracker here and bring the results to them.
