I Have worked successfully with bipolar children

I am bipolar myself AND have worked successfully with bipolar children.  I see that many of you are struggling to understand and work with your bipolar kids.  I am off work right now with a shoulder injury and I can't think of a better way to spend my time than to help you.

I was a special ed teacher long before I was diagnosed with late-onset bipolar at age 37.  That gave me unique insight into developing programs for bipolar children.  It's based on really consistent behavior management and teaching a child about his own disorder and blood chemistry.  Look at my posts and see if it sounds reasonable to you.  It REALLY works.  Not a substitute for a good medical team, but a great addition.

It is sooo good to hear about the work you are doing. I am unable to answer many of the children bi polar posts except to get professional help.I am glad you here to help the parents of bi polar children. It is really needed and appreciated.
