Is Geodon 40mg IM -given as one time dose too much?

So other day Doc ordered 40mg Geodon IM stat and this was given as ordered in 2 separate syringes of course so question is..someone told me that i shoulve questioned doc cuz although max. day dose is 40 it should not have been given at once..is this true?? (Also this person was given zyprexa zydis 10mg PO 3 hr. earlier and Ativan 2mg PO an hr. earlier-dont think these pose severe interaction with geodon)...please let me know I cannot find this info. anywhere
