Is Seroquel XR equivalent to Seroquel.

Is Seroquel XR 50mg 2tabs 2x a day the equivalent of Seroquel 100mg 2x a day?

same equivalent, however the XR is usually only taken ONCE per day...b/c it is extended release.....therefore only needed once in a 24 hr period. its usually taken at night to promote sleep without the hangover effect you'd get by taking this med in the a.m.
