Is it possible to be bipolar too?

I've been diagnosed with Graves disease over a year ago and the doctor said i had panick attacks and anxiety i didn't want to go to a pshycologist thinking it's all because of my disease and i've been prescriped only with xanax, the problem is that it does work for my anxiety but does nothing for my depression, anger and my parents noticed my mood swings after 6 months of treatment because i was angry or happy or funny and shortly after that i became depressed, and they thought that the treatment will fix that too,i don't know why i am so angry  or sad and i lost my intress in school, at 3,4 o'clock in the morning, i wanna draw, i wanna sing, write, play piano, it happens during the day too but not that intese, so my question is, is it possible to be bipolar too? I don't know much about the link between thyroid and bipolar, i will see a pshycologist really soon though cause i'm kind of emotionally exhaused.

I met a lady in treatment one time with the same sort of problem you are facing.  She had Graves disease and was being treated for the possibility of having BP.  She made a good case to me as far as why she didn't believe she had BP and I wish I could tell you all of the things she told me but I don't remember them anymore.  The symptoms she presented while in treatment led me to believe that she did have BP.  She was showing signs of mania at times.
