Is weight gain and being tired side affect od bipolar meds?

I am a 40 year old female with ADD and Bilor Disorder.  I take Abilfy, Topomax (topamax), Wellbutrin and Concerta.  I go to the gym 3x week and try to watch what I eat.  I am always tired!!!!  Any suggesstions?

It is a side effect! Weight gain is too. Can you try a different medication that may help. If you are on  a high dose speak to your doc maybe you can try cutting down if you are doing great otherwise. Also try www.orthomolecularvitamincentre.com I hope you the best God Bless You.

I was taking Lamictal 100mg,Abilify do not remember how much and 18mg a day of concerta a few years ago and I found that when it was my time to take te abilify I was so tired, so my Dr. told me to take it at night before I went to bed and then I noticed weight gain from it and I stopped taking the meds all togther and lost the weight but felt horrible mentally and emotionally, so  6monts ago, I went back to the DR. and she put me back on lamictal 100 mg final dose, 25mg serquel at bedtime to sleep and 36mg of concerta a day and I feel great and have not gained any weight at all, actually seemed to have lost a few pounds and able to keep a lower weight. Maybe it is the abilify. Good Luck
