Keeping track

I've been trying to keep track of a journal or mood chart for as long as I've been diagnosed [6+ years]. I am good at maining it/them for a short time, up to even 6 months, but right around that time and after it just sort of .... pitters away. It could be months, or even years, before I come back to it, and no matter what sort of personal resolutions I make to try and stick with it, I always end up off the track.

Does anyone experience this as well, or anyone have any suggestions on how better to handle this?

Thanks muchly!! ^_^

I don't know why my emotions have always been limited and I started off like the exact opposite of a bipolar person and was told as a baby I never seemed happy or sad. lol  Didn't feel sad until I was roughly 15 and the rest is history.

When I think of "okay" on the tracker I think it was not a good or bad day. It was just meh. Not emotionless, but nothing major to report. I have a lot of "okay" days recently, which is good, but more good days would be better.

I have the same problem.  I eventually stopped voluntarily but right before that was pittering away as you said.  I chose to stop using it because on medication I only had okay (which for me is being dead inside and feeling no emotions) mood and I never went into positive moods while off meds, was just random sadness of varying degrees.

Well, I have a hard time keeping a journal. Sometimes I just don't want to talk about how I feel. That's why I like the mood tracker here. I can just click on feelings then if I want to add anything I can do a journal or not.

This is my first mood tracker so I'm not sure. Sometimes I take a break for a week here and there but I really try hard to keep up with it. I'm trying to see if there are patterns or anything forming. I think it is easier than trying to write it down because it is point and click and I can look at it from anywhere with the internet.
