Lamictal Side Effects - HELP

Hi. I am bipolar and currently taking Lithium, Neurontin, Seroquel & Lamictal.  I have only been on the Lamictal for about 7 weeks, starting @ 25mg & every 2 weeks adding another 25mg; thus I am currently @ 100mg per day.
I am getting very concerned about the following side effects I am experiencing, and what treatment is necessary:
*Fever
*High BP (143/97) mine usual is 110/65
*Irregular & fast pulse (110-120)
*Depression & anxiety worsened - rapid mood swings - panic attack
*Chest & back pain
*Tingling in left shoulder through hand
*Severe Migraine
*Can NOT sleep or eat (3 days)
*Dry mouth, trouble swollowing & talking
*Indigestion
*Confusion, zero memory & lack of coordination
*Really dark urine
*Body aches, like all my muscles are stiff
*VERY shakey hands
*Difficult to take a deep breath (very tight chest)
*VERY blurry vision & lack of depth perception

I am scared because these symptoms are progressing. I have tried taking valium & klonopin, but my pulse will not drop.  Does anyone know if I need to see a doctor/hospital, or just stop taking the medication?

I would greatly appreciate anyone's assisstance.

Thanks,
Torrey

I am very very migraine sensitive and Lithium does not cause me migraines, however Lamictal did so I stopped it.  The reason it did was because it messes with the breakdown metabolization of birth control pills, which threw my hormones and caused the migraines.  Seroquel made me so sedated I could not function and I refused to keep taking it too.  I would be re-evaluated about your meds.  It sounds like you are on way too much stuff and why would your psychiatrist dope you up like that?  Valium and Klonopin are habit forming.  Have you had your bloodwork done regularly?  It is so very important to have that check and each med your on can mess up a different organ. BTW, how does the Neurontin work for you?  I just started it.  Thanks!

Torrey,
My best friend is Bi-polar. I asked her and she said Lithium gave her migranes and Seroquel made her want to sleep all the time. This is all I know.

Hi Torrey -- Do Not Stop Taking Any Of Your Meds.  that's very dangerous.  Go to the ER with your meds, doses, and a list of docs, and have them contact your pyschiatrist and GP.  Don't screw around with any of these symtoms.  You didn't say how much lithium you're taking, but it could be a nasty toxic lithium reaction.  Stop reading this and GO GO GO to the ER.  shawn
