I like to spend on the internet when I am speedy and have regreted it later....big time Buyers remorse.    What works for me is to turn off the computer and go for a walk....if it is inclement weather I try to read a good piece of fiction (TV just keeps me speedy).  If there is someone you can call that feels safe give them a call.

Take care and you will get through it.

You should speak to your psychiatrist about what is going on. What mood stabilizers have you tried so far? I found for me Lamictal was the best at ending rapid cycling and did not cause cognitive blunting. In the meantime yes best to cancel credit cards but if you are manic ultimately something else will happen. Speak to your psychiatrist about what's going on and what options might work.

I had to cancel my paypal and ebay acc't, and I rarely buy anything over the internet any more, it got me into big trouble.  I also keep every single receipt for my purchases because I realize I still binge buy at times. I end up returning 1/3 of what I buy. I'm really more controlled then I used to be. Lamictal helps a bit, but getting onto a higher dose of Seroquel and 250mgs Lamictal, between the two, they have mellowed me out considerably.  I was bouncing off the walls when I was only take 50mgs 3xday, I'm now on 100mgs SeroqeulXR lunchtime and 300mgsXR @ bed, it helps my brain shut down, it's the worst afternoon and evening. Like ILADV, it's had no blunting at all - I am almost too mellow, which I'm not going to complain about, I used to walk around like a ball of anxiety, or my temper would flare. I accidentally messed up my GP's app't today, I thought it was today and not tommorow. I would have gone into a rage 2 months ago. I really didn't bother me. at all. very strangely calm. wow.

Spex, if your hypo isn't controlled which sounds like it isn't, you need to talk to your pdoc and get it addressed before you get into financial trouble. Being that "high" isn't good for you. Make a dr's app't PDQ!
