MPD symptom of BP?

Im trying to find out if thinking you have more than one personality is ever a part of Bipolar? My daughter has felt like she has MPD along with classic Bipolar symtoms (symptoms). Has anyone else seen a coorilation between the two? She wants a real diagnosis so badly, I think she thinks she wont feel so lost if she has a name for it all. Her therapist wont label her just yet....She has had very psychotic reactions to most of the meds she has tried....Wellbutrin, Celexa, Geodon, Invega....She is now on Neurontin, heading for Lamictal. She isnt hallucinating, visually or auditory, since getting of the other meds, but she literally freaks out every single evening, raging and crying, suicidal, homicidal, and begging me to put her back in the hospital. She says the other personalities are more active in the evening and she cant control everything. Has anyone dealt with this kind of thing? The meds seem to be doing well in the daytime. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The two, BP and MPD, might be related to each other.  I've heard of borderline personality disorder running in tandem with BP.  You need to bring your daughter to a psych to determine what's happening.
