Manic all the time

I recently requested information from the place I am getting help from and I was reading their off official word on me and it was Bipolar 1/MRE-manic, Severe with mood incongruent psychotic features. and Panic attack with Agorophobia. This is my diagnoses since I have seen them. I thought it was only bipolar one not all of this. Now with the Mania it never seems to let up even with the medication nor do my moods. The only time I feel down is around Thanksgiving, and Especially Christmas, when I hear a certain song or melody. But other than that I dont really have a depressive mode. Is anyone else like this and what can be done. And which the psychotic features am I on my way to having a breakdown of some sorts?

That is very true. I have always been manic. And it seems it will not be changing anytime soon. I just have to deal with it on a day to day basis

I wont get discourage, even though its hard not to. I will do what needs to be done. I will see my pdoc in 3 weeks. So I think I can hold off until then

You shouldn't take yourself off of them, you may experience withdrawal symptoms.  Only go by your doctor's directed usage.  Sometimes it's not uncommon for a person to take years to find the right medication combination for bipolar disorder so don't give up and try to remember that you just need to be patient if you get discouraged because it's not working.

Trileptal and Seroquel but they are not working. I am taking myself of the trileptal now. i am off the seroquel completely now. Like you said I have grown immune to them. I have an appt to see my psych doc soon. I had printed out a list of meds so hopefully we are able to get the right ones. Its seems to be taking forever though for the right combination

May I ask what medications you are taking?  It might help me make more sense of this.  It's possible the meds you are taking have stopped working because you built up a tolerance or didn't work to begin with.

Ok. But is it common to be manic all year round like I am. Even with the meds. Like I said I only hit the depressive mode when I hear a certain melody or when its those to holidays but I never stay in it for long. But I wouldnt say just depressed its mixed. But the mania never goes away

Holiday blues can affect anyone, especially people with things like bipolar disorder.  Depressive episodes I don't think are required for bipolar disorder 1 to be diagnosed and only mania is required but they frequently occur.  With psychotic features just means you experience psychotic symptoms when manic and/or depressed but particularly while manic.  Psychosis from bipolar disorder can possibly be recovered from fully with the right medication unlike let's say schizophrenia for example where classically the patient usually doesn't recover to baseline fully after their first full psychotic break with the current medications out there.
