Need psyhiciatrist in Birmingham Alabama that takes medicade

I am out of my meds and Im having severe anxiety lately accompanied with manic episodes. I was on 500 mg;s of depakote three times a day,2mg;s og zanax three times a day, and was on pshycatrophic meds for a while.

If you are in the US, every county has some mental health services. Go to the county offices and check it out.

Thank You, I had a psychiatrist for years when I had my BCBS, but now that Im disabled Im treated like a drug addict in both of my searches. I wish that they could switch places with me for just a month and see how it is in my world. Thank you for your response.Im just about tired of all of this. I cant kill my pain and in the process Im freaking out with these panic attacks. Maybe the lord will take it away, or me .Charliemac

   Some psychiatrists won't take this form of coverage but there are clinics that should accept it until you are able to find a psychiatrist who does.

The best thing to do is get in touch with Medicaid. They will have a list of providers in your area and point you in the right direction.
