Rapid Cycler

Is anyone out there who deals with rapid cycling bipolar?  I'm on 7 meds and am finding life is more bearable than 7 meds ago, but wishing I could feel more like coming out of my hole.  I'm fortunate to have a loving and understanding husband who takes care of most of my needs - I am thankful to God - but I wish I had even better answers.

Yes I've dealt with rapid cycling. Its very common. We have some websites linked up for information on bipolar that you discuss with your psychiatrist. As per what medications might work on rapid cycling each person responds differently but I found Lamictal to be the most helpful. One of the medications I am on for dystonic spasms is showing mood stabilization properties but as they are going to write that up and I am first responder (literally) I won't post the name and the other mood stabilizer I take is Clonidine in patch form and as I am up at this hour its reminding me its my day to change it. Best to keep a Mood Tracker and see how your moods change in general and bring that to your psychiatrist.
