Respiradol

Help!  We have an 8 yr old that was diagnosed bi polar and prescribed the lowest dosage of Respiradol, then the pill cut in half.  Two weeks later, she developed uncontrollable eyelid closures (about 11 in one minute).  The doctor took her off the med, and now three days later, she is still doing the eyelid movement plus a twist of the mouth with it.  Will it go away?? Please tell me it can.
