Sore Mouth

Do any of you suffer from a sore mouth? Actually, it's my tongue, feels like it's got cuts all over it and is sore on the sides. I can't figure out if it's the meds giving me a new side effect or because of dental work done in Jan.. It doesn't look different but eatting has become a real painful business at times. I have had blood work done recently and the only thing wrong was low vit D which I now take. Is this strange or what?

This is more a medical question. If it started to happen after the dental work it could be from that. And vitamin deficiencies can cause bleeding. They would want to know why the vitamin d level was low but that could be for any number of reasons. But the best thing to do is tell your psychiatrist and have them speak to the doctor so that they both can confirm where its coming from and how to follow up. They can easily look up to see if its a medication side effect which it probably isn't but they could tell.
