Topomax Side Effects

I was recently put on topomax (topamax) and now I am having a period when I am not supposed to. I am on the birth control seasonale, where you have a period every three months. Could the topomax (topamax) be causing this?

"Topamax can make birth control pills less effective." I pulled this from a clinically accurate site but go to the medication website itself and also speak to your psychiatrist or doctor and if they are not available pharmacist about this and what to do.
