Withdrawal from Celexa

I have been on 60mg of Celexa (generic version) for 2 years, prior to that 40 mgs. I have been taking Celexa consistantly since it came out in 1998.  I am also currently taking Lamictal 20mg.  I just ran out of meds again this will be the third night without either and I am not feeling well.  I feel nauseous and irritable.  I feel sluggish and groggy, and i know after 3 days it gets VERY BAD.  I am trying to see if all these things are symptoms of withdrawal or is it all in my head because I know I should have gotten the scripts filled by now.  or are these real withdrawal symptoms???

Hello,
I had been on Celexa 50mg for 5 years and two months ago started to slowly tapper off and now am off for a week.  My withdrawal symptoms are:  dizziness and some nausea, electric shocks in my body and head, blurred vision at times, lethargy, very vivid dreams and flu like symptoms.  I think the dizziness is the worst which includes nausea at times.  I believe these withdrawal symptoms will subside with the Lord's help.  The doctor who wrote the original prescription never mentioned withdrawal symptoms, only that I needed to tapper off gradually.   Definitely, there should be more information available by the drug companies, but they are in denial.   The Lord Jesus Christ is our healer.

Sorry didn't see this post sooner.  Hope you got your meds filled again.  Those are serious withdrawl symptoms and can be very dangerous for you.  You should never go off these drugs cold turkey, you have to wean off of them gradually.
