Zoloft for Anxiety

This is going to be kind of stupid to ask because I'm sure nearly all of you have been prescribed zoloft for depression, if you've been prescribed it before... but how did zoloft work for your anxiety?  They prescribed me some during my hospital stay for my anxiety.  I'm already less jittery but feeling anxious a bit still but I know that will take a week or so to take full effect.

Yep that's true that meds work differently for every person.  It might work even better when I take a full pill tomorrow.  They only gave me half today and the day before.

My boyfriend was prescribed zoloft for his anxiety but ended up switching to mirtazapine after 4 or 5 months. He was still have problems calming down his mind at night and couldn't sleep or eat very well even with the zoloft.  

I personally take lexapro for depression and anxiety.  It has worked wonders.  Only felt crappy for a few days after I started taking it and then I was feeling noticabley better. Been on it for 4 years now.

I hope the zoloft works for you....different meds work totally different on other people.
