about bipolor

thank all of you for answering my questions. iv been takeing lexapro , it has been calming my syptoms (symptoms). i was told it was gad, but because i get into a mode of constant panic and anxiety attakes when i get stressed i got worried that it might be bipolor. lots of fear worrie worrie, more fear ,panic and anxiety attakes. the circel cotinues all through the day.i dont get that depressed but i do worrie that i may die. it scares me so back into the circel. once i get the panic and anxiety attakes to calm down i am pretty much in a concern mode. moods dont change that much unless i have a not so good day, then its mostly fear worrie sadness and irrableness. i just want to no from some one that has bipolor if any body had these modes. they say its hard to determand if its bipolor or anxiety because they are so much a like.thats why i wanted to ask some one that has it so i would no.

  Anxiety disorder can accompany bipolar and anxiety episodes can be a part of it. Bipolar involves marked shifts in moods from manic to depressed with episodes of relatively stability in between. Of course there are a variety of types of bipolar some with depression more than mania and a variety of other criteria. It would depend on what you experience specifically outside of anxiety episodes (which have their own extreme changes) as to what else is going on but you could speak to your psychiatrist about all this.

really doesn,t really sound like bipolar. This is a diease thatis over dx'ed. bipolar/manic depression has many more symptoms than you are explaining. You do need to go and get evaluated by a psyhciatrist to find out. Don't worry about something you may not have. It sounds like you got enough on your plate. If you go let me know what happens.
