To be honest, I do not think there is a magic want to cure bi-polar disorders.

But it can be managed either with medication and/or counselling and support.

If the medication that you are on is not working for you, you should make a appointment to see your doctor.  It can take time to find the right medication that will work for you.  And you also need to be on the medication for a few weeks before it starts to have any effect.

Don't just stop taking your meds because you think you feel better.
You may also find that now the season is changing and the days are getting shorter, that this may also affect your moods and how you feel.

If you do drink alcohol, then do get help from your doctor or by joining a group to help you to stop.  When we feel down and low, we think that alcohol will make us feel better, but it doesn't it just makes us more depressed, but the fact that it is addictive.

If you have any interests or hobbies, see if there are any groups in your local area that you can join.  Get support from friends and family if you are able to.

There are different types of counselling and your doctor can refer you to one that would be suitable for you.

Best wishes.
