concentration

I was diagnosed about a year ago with having bipolar disorder. I recently started school and am having a really hard time concentrating. I only have one last semester to go and I can't keep myself focused on the things I should be doing. I don't know if I should try other medications. I am currently on topamax and I have a friend that suggested that adderall (adderrall) would help. Are there any medications that can help with my concentration problem?

you really need an antidepressant and a mood stabilizer to even out  the bi polar. I am on zyprexa and celexa and it works great.I have been stable for 7 years. I saw in your other post you are still smoking weed. quit and that will help your concentration tremendously.  Also eat 6 small healthy meals a day like lots of fruit and veggies with lean protiens. NO sugar or caffiene as these aggravate bi polar and get at least 30 mins of exercisse like a brisk walk.  omega fatty acids and antioxidents as well will improve your concentration.
Love Venora.
