depakote now has a genaric brand is anybody else having trouble with this not working like the real drug? My insurance company is forcing me to use the knock off or pay 200.00 a month, is anybody having this trouble?

I've had problems with many generics and regardless of what is stated they are not exactly the same as the prescription medication. If you cannot tolerate the generic have your psychiatrist detail it in a letter and appeal the decision within the insurance company which is what I generally do.
