feeling irritable...dosage....when will I feel back to normal?

by Bluetwo, May 25, 2009 06:49PM
I started my next dosage increase last monday.
I feel better and the mood swings have calmed down.
I have them here and there but nothing dramatic.
Now it's basically a energy issue.
In the morning I have stamina and in the afternoon I'm tired.
So I take a nap.

Then I have days like today that I feel real irritable.
Is that depression or mania still lurking around?

Here's my dosage regimens so far.

My first two week my doc put on Lamotrigine 25 mg x one per day
Last monday he put me on 25mg  x two per day for two weeks.
June 1st I have a appointment again....most likely increase my dosage again.

How much will I take of Lamotrigine before I feel my normal self again?

Give it at least 4 to 6 weeks for the med to kick in. it just takes time.
