can any one please tell me why i need to go into hospital today,they said that i need togo for my own good.to be honest this is the best i have felt in a while,they said if i dont go by mself then they will send some one to get me i dont feel high or low.what if i dont go

You may feel manic without realizing it. I experienced this before recovery. I would go to the hospital as you may need help without knowing.

Ask someone you trust ane love to explain to you what is happening.  A close relative or friend.
Maybe an outsider who loves you can see why you need to go to hospital.

All I can do is offer you support.I don't know why they want you in the hospital     but perhaps it's because of the symptoms you are presenting. I can see that you are confused and afraid of all  this,  I agree that you need someone to talk to that you trust   be blessed

all i can do either is as everyone else and tell you i'm thinking of you. what's your pdoc saying? and also i hope you do have someone you trust to go with you. maybe they just want to assess in hospital and they may not need you to stay. good luck with it.

Maybe she is fine and by saying she needs to go to hospital is making her confused and annoyed - where as if she didn't have to go to hospital she would be calm. Who are we to say how she is feeling.

It sounds like you are either manic or hypomanic or going through what's called mixed states. It's hard to tell because you haven't said alot. . Even though you feel fabulous, you can put yourself in danger feeling like that. I went into the hospital for that. It's the best thing I ever did. I only stayed 4 days for assessment and to get me on the right meds. They treat you like any patient. It's not so bad. If you feel you need to have someone go with you, then if you can, it would be a good idea. I went alone, and was fine. hang in there, if your doctor says to go, I would. Keep in touch!

aboiut six / seven years ago the doc sent me to local psych hospital and they wanted to keep me! i really did not want to stay and luckily i had a friend with me. i signed a promise not to harm myself and they let me go home with my friend, thank god! looking back it was the best thing for me. in dec 07 i took and od and ended up in er and again the next day they wanted to keep me in and again i did not want this. my two sisters came and the pdoc whom i managed to convince i was fine let me go with them. i went and stayed with one of my sisters for a week and was in constant contact with my own pdoc. while i don't remember much of that week being in the hospital def was not what i needed at the time. i really hope this all works out in whatever way is best for you.
