How does one know if they are suffering from bipolar disorder?
I finally decided to go see a doctor when I couldn't explain my moods. When I finally asked myself "why am I feeling this way" and I couldn't give myself an answer. Doctor diagnosed me with bipolar disorder. It explained my manic behaviors and my extreme depressive behavior. Meds have been helping.
You would have to look up bipolar disorder in this website or the mayo clinic website and you will see two different types.
I have the bipolar II (hypomanic).....severely depressed.
I would recommend making an appointment with a psychiatrist or your primary doctor and tell him/her what you are feeling. That would be a good place to start if you are not feeling right about yourself.
