Obama ever even mention mental health?

That's a good question and one I should be aware of. He has mentioned health care reform overall and a variety of disability legislation such as the Community Choice Act. Its just that one of the main goals regarding mental health care which was national mental health parity was passed by George Bush as part of the tax incentive act and will go into effect in January 2010. There might be more issues though and there certainly are statewide issues but those differ from state to state. You might find out more by contacting your local independent living center and asking what is on their agenda.
