Hi. I went thru 8 med changes. Still felt like crap. ( I have been diagnosed by 4 specialists as Bipolar.
This web site helps as my support group online. In CA I have a support group thru DBSA.
My current Pdoc thinks the ADD is a higher priority than the bipolar. I was weaned off all antidepressants.
My current cocktail includes Vyvance & Klonipin for the day. ( .25 mg) low dose.
At night I still suffer a little as I was used to Seraquell I'm off that now & take Geodone w Ativan or Valium. Again super low dose.
Feel better than I have in 10 years! Maxy
I've done every test that you can imagine & all of them came back to be normal.......Dr referred me to a therapist........therapist referred me to a psychiatrist.........psychiatrist referred me to a social worker.......social worker suggested that applying for disability benefits is most likely be the best thing to do.......I'm been on meds & seeing them for almost 4yrs now
There are a number of things that can make us moody. I would suggest going to your General Practioner first and have some blood tests run. Example, thyroid issues can cause moodiness among other things such as vitamin and nutrition deficiency. I have all of these and Bipolar with anxiety. If your hormones are out of wack, they can cause this type of moodiness too. After your results, depending on what they show, I would find a good pscychiatrist and get evaluated. Something is obviously off and hopefully you'll get some answers soon. Hang in there and make it your mission to find out what's happening to you.
