peeling eyelids, excessive sneezing....is it allergies or?

My 17 yr old daughter is slowly coming off of zoloft for the past month and has been sneezing several times a day sometimes 10-12 times in a row. In the past week her eyelids are slightly swollen, skin is red on lids and around eyes, and is peeling and itchy. looks similar to a sunburn yet she has not been in the sun.
She does have allergies and they do seem worse than ever this year but I am wondering if this could also be a side effect from coming off of the zoloft?

She is currently on 50mg. Has been taking 10mg of laratadine for allergies and benadryl and ibuprofen to help with these "allergy" and pms symptoms.

I am not too sure about your daughter's condition, and I am sorry that your family is suffering through this. I am bipolar type 2 sufferer and my psy advised me to keep off anti-depressive (zoloft) that I took before seeing my psy. He advised that my reaction to zoloft could be severe becos i am BP type 2. Being on mood stabilizer would be much better option for me.

Being medically informed of all the options available, I am aware of the side-effects of anti-depressive especially zoloft and I was apprehensive when I first started medicating. Though the effects are minimal (e.g., 1% of recipients), but it may occur. They are blindness, liver problems, skin problems etc.

Now i am on Lamotrigine daily and the worst side-effect is blisters and peeling of skin.

Has the doctor diagnosed the source of the problem?
