prozac for anxiety

Does prozac good for social anxiety?

Hi there. There is a very good anxiety forum here on med help with lots of knowlegable folks.
All I know about prozac is that it is an anti depressant.
Jikan may be in later to give you some good info He is very good with the different meds on what they can and cant do.

What works for some may or may not work for others.  If you pdoc thinks it might, then you could give it a try.

I had to stop taking Prozac because of anxiety after taking it with no problems for years.  So, if it works for you now, keep an eye on how it's working later.
