theres alot on the geodon i read??

i read on the geodon thats got me all messed up..he prescribed me a lager dose  then i would have thought..60 mgs anight for 2 weeks then  120 mgs the same..tell me  about the heart abnormalities from this geodon that a possible effect of arrhythmias..this can be fatel....when i took serquil  2 yrs had to stop it for tachycardia....so yes im suppose to be taking this tuseday night.came  here to get some facts..or someone to explain these effects to me.. I CANT WAITE ANY LONGER..I HAVENT BEEN ON ANYTHING SINCE 12/.08  WHEN I WENT TOXIC ON THE LITHIUM..

This is going to explain the side effects of Geodon better than I even can and I take it and experienced some of them but mostly only during the adjustment period.  Side effects occur differently for each person.

From Wikipedia in relation to your question about the heart problems associated with it:
"It also slightly increases the QTc interval in some patients and increases the risk of a potentially lethal type of heart arrythmia known as torsades de pointes. Ziprasidone should be used cautiously in patients taking other medications likely to interact with ziprasidone or increase the QTc interval."

Also I'm going to warn you that you SHOULD NOT just stop taking it cold turkey.  The withdrawal was f*cking horrible for me when I was forced to do that due to bad planning on doctors' parts and Wikipedia claims it can cause "cardiac complications".
