when is it time for hospitalization
my wife has lupus and was recently diagnosed with bi polar,she was given depakote and was already on a anti depresant,she stopped taking the depakote and went manic,when shes manic she wanders,and does things that are not exceptable in any marriage,she will leave for weeks,then act like she did nothing,she,s threatened suicide when she crashes[depression],any hellp with what to do
Hey I know your post is really old but I just started this account a few weeks back. Im bipolar myself and have been in the hospital 3 times. But how is your wife doing now?
hospital. If shes a danger to herself or others you have grounds to force her...at least in Canada. Sec 22 of the mental health act. She needs you to advocate cuz shes not of right mind. Im bipolar and thats what I would hope for someone to do.We did nothing for my dad and he committed suicide successfully. This is not an illness to mess with ...please..get her help NOW!!!
