I've given up on my Zyprexa about a week ago because of the side effects, I've noticed I've been having horrible nightmares. Normally I LOVE nightmares as they're like scary movies I've never seen before, but these one are not good. I wake up and am terrified and feel like I absolutely have to check on my children to make sure they're okay. They all seem to be getting worse and worse and always have the same theme. Last nights was so bad though that I knew I was dreaming and I couldn't wake up. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't do it. It was the worse nightmare I've had since I was pregnant with my youngest. My sister's mother-in-law asked if it was related to my meds and I did notice that it started when I started this medication and have gotten worse since I've given it up. But I'm right there with you.

Medications can cause vivid dreams or nightmares but if you are concerned about disturbed or disrupted sleep and that something is wrong get a referral to a sleep study and they could determine exactly what is going on.
