2) What is the best bird as pets guide or encyclopedia on the Web?

4) Where is a simplified nutrition guide for birds?

5) one more! -- Where is the best travel guide/chart that shows travel constraints for birds?

  I like "Tailfeathers" or "Tailfeather" I forget which it is and I will just let you check it out and see if you like it. Birdfancy is another you might like. Oh, I have two budgies and that is what tailfeathers is mostly about, but Birdfancy is for all breeds. I hope you get more and better detailed answers!

aheart gave you some good answers. I cannot recommend any books because I deal primarily with wildlife. You won't want a Sibley guide or an Exotic Animal formulary. Which books work for you may depend on your needs and interests. If you're a budgie fan, then you'd need books that focus on those. If you prefer Macaws, then that's a different set of information. It would be a shame to invest in books where only 10% of the book applies to your needs.
