Another Goffin Question

Okay so I am a bit of a worrier but, we just transitioned my baby Gemini to a pellet based diet( the pet store had her on seeds). And I am wondering if that is changing her poop from green to orange and, if so, will it go back. Do I need to be worried? Please help me out with this.

I don't know much about pet bird seed and diets. But from what I've seen at the store, aren't a lot of those bird pellets in bright colors? That's not what you'd see in wild bird food. I'd guess it's dye from the "pretty" pellets that colors the poop. Wild birds poop changes colors when they eat a lot of berries (Cedar Waxwings for example eat tons of berries).

Yes her pellets are brightly colored and that's why I was wondering.

it is most likely from the pellets...as long as she is eating, not lethargic and not sleeping all day...i would say she is fine and her poop is different because of the pellets...
i buy pellets for my lovies, but i buy the ones that are natural in color...i know of an awesome brand that i get...but i dont know if i would be breaking the rules if i mention the type and place where i get them? they smell great!  like fruity pebbles...LOL! just add milk...he he he!!!
