My cockatiel has an injured leg
My cockatiel has injured leg (i think it has fractured its leg). It has a loss of feathers and only 2-3 tail feathers> How should I treat it?

I strongly recommend you take the bird to a vet to have the leg professionally  splinted. Depending on the location of the break, there are different ways to splint it for proper alignment. It may even need a foot splint to keep the toes splayed to avoid contraction. A femur fracture (above the knee) is one of the hardest to support properly. Please take the bird in.
