This really hurts someone plz answer me

I recently was up in a barn infested with swallows grabbing some stored scaffolding. The scaffolding was covered in dry droppings and i directly contacted the droppings with my hands and the next day i developed red dots in my skin and very sore palms on my hands. What is wrong?

Generally swallows don't carry much in the way of zoonoses (diseases passed between animals and humans). Some possibilities from a barn setting are tiny bird mites or lice but they don't do much on human skin. I get them every day in the summer when I work with wild birds. They tend to die off within an hour or so. There may be other tiny insects that bit you but it was so brief, I don't know about that. I can go on listing possible things but it sounds like you're having an allergic reaction to something, possibly the bird droppings. If it lasts very long, contact your doctor. S/he may be able to determine what's going on and give you some medication to relief the irritation and pain. If you need to go out there again to move something around, wear gloves and see if that helps.
