bathtime for birdie

Is there any way I can get my six-month old parakett to want to take a bath? How can I encourage her and in what manner should the bath be placed. Any hints would be appreciated!! I want her to enjoy all the pleasures of being a bird    Aheart:)

clear out the kitchen sink, plug it up...run the water gently...see if she wants to play in the stream, if not turn the sink off and see what she does with the water in the bottom of the sink

or sometimes I will put the birds in the shower with me...depends on which one....my cockatoo loves to take showers with me,  I have a perch in there for her to stand on

Tonight I bought a companion bird for my para Juicy! Shes another female, Lucy  They want to be right next to each other and have even started converstion, mostly my first bird talking to the new one. I have the new one in her own cage, my question is how long until I can let them move into the same cage and how to go about it.??? They are sooooo adorable!  Thank you   aheart:)
