peacock not losing feathers

I have raised peacocks as pets for well over 20 years an have never come across anything like this.  I currently have three males.  Two males have already dropped their feathers which was probably about three weeks ago.  The third male, who appeared to get his feathers at the same time, has not lost his.  He also used to roost in the trees at night but now he will run around prior to dark, and I mean run ,but he will never roost.  We have to pick him up and put him in a closed pen because we are fearful that a coyote etc. might get him.  He is probably about 7 or 8 years old and we have never seen this behavior out of him.  He eats well and has free range of our farm.  Nothing has changed except that one of the limbs that he used to roost on at night came down but their are several other limbs in that tree and numerous trees throughout the farm.  Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated!  Thank you
