If you scroll down a little there's a response to a question just like yours. Again, this late in the year most birds are no longer breeding and so I wonder if what you've found is a "baby." Often I get calls from people that have found a baby bird, they bring it in only to find out it's an adult but simply a small species of bird. So unless you are positive of the ID of this one it would be unwise to feed it much of anything. There are baby bird formulas on the market but they're geared towards seed eaters. With an omnivore, like a magpie, crow, robin, you could use soaked cat chow. I think it would be best to have this bird checked by a vet or a wildlife rehabber. It would be a shame to miss an injury that could have been fixed.
