Am I fertile?

I stopped taking my birth control approximately 3 months ago and am trying to conceive. Ive taken some form of hormonal birth control substance for 8 years. Does the amount of time that you use contraceptives prolong the time it takes to conceive?

HI!
IF you were my patient, I would advise you that the answer to your question is "No". Often taking pills actually protects your fertility. It commonly takes up to a year to conceive, so don't feel like you are abnormal!
