Are there any doctors who can tell me what my chances are?

My boyfriend drove me to the clinic. I was 4 months along. They gave me osmotic dilators. I don't want to go back in. I'm just not comfortable with the idea. I mean to me it's like the end I can't really imagine how I'll feel after that. But then again I don't really know if I have a choice now. I am supposed to get the d&e tm. I still don't really even feel cramping or anything. So what should I do?


I am 4 months along and I reall haven't experienced cramping or anything so doesn't that mean the baby's ok at least now?

They told me I couldn't but II don't knowif something's just not right or what?

I read up on it and like the doctor said I can't reverse it but I'm just thinking since I just did it the thing would be just to have the dilation removed and maybe I'll just prematurely do it? What are my chances that my baby won't be aborted?

Call your own ob-gyn's or doctor's night service and request a call back and say it is urgent.  If you cannot do that, go to the ER and ask them.  I don't know whether you can simply take the dialators out and hope everything will continue, or not.  The material I read said they do most of their work in the first 6 hours.  You need an ob-gyn's advice, now, if you are thinking of stopping the process.

Unless you go to the ER, stay in bed.  The cervix opening is not the end of the pregnancy at that point, so until you know whether everything is inevitable once the cervix opens, you should stay off your feet unless you go to the hospital.

once you've took the first step theres no going back, ive been there done that but now got two lovely boys and everyday i think about the termination, i put it at back of m mind, i was given some pills and got agonising cramps but nothing after the operation, whereas some people are in absolute agony after, you should never do something you're unsure of its ur decision no one elses

well it's not over I just went to the doctor and they gave me some medication and told me I had to be careful from now on. I might give birth pregnancy or miscarry and risk infection but I think it's worth taking the chance.

Honey, I'm so glad.  You have a tough row to hoe, have you considered adoption?  But at least you don't have to go through the agony you went through last night.  Pm me if you need a sympathetic ear on this rough road.

no I always wanted to parent really. I want adoption or abortion. It's not like I didn't want my baby just got persuaded sort of out of it it was a mistake I'm happy I didn't go through with.
