I started taking beyaz alittle under a month ago( i have 7pills left to take) . I started on the second day of my period. There have been 4 or 5 times where ive been an hour or two late taking the pill. I had unprotected sex today, is my birth control effective enough?
Hello and hope you are doing well.
Birth control pills are very effective in preventing pregnancy if taken regularly and on the same time every day. Taking pills 1 or 2 hours late does not affect t the efficacy of the pills. The chances of pregnancy are very less unless you had taken antibiotics while on pills or have suffered from diarrhea or vomiting which may affect the absorption of pills. Wait for your periods. If you miss your periods take up pregnancy test. Do write to me again on how you are doing.
Best luck and regards!
