Better safe than sorry!? Need help ASAP

Please help!! I been taking Darvocet N 100  (Propoxy Naps/Apap) 100/650mg (CIV) due to an injury thats caused severe pain. I am also taking Aviane 28 tablets. Monday was pill active #2. I had unprotected sex. (been on BC for 3 yrs now, never missed a pill)

I was checking online drug interactions for aviane & darvocet. It read: "ACETAMINOPHEN (in Darvocet-N)  may interact with ETHINYL ESTRADIOL (in Aviane 28-Day Tablets)

Although the exact causes for this potential interaction are not understood completely, ethinyl estradiol may increase the rate at which acetaminophen is broken down by the body. As a result, acetaminophen may not be as effective or its effects may be delayed. At recommended doses, no significant adverse effects are thought to occur. You may want to ask your healthcare provider about this potential interaction if you think you are having problems."

*I have Plan B right now near me. Im debating whether I should take it or not. I need input please!!*

If I'm reading this correctly what you quoted says that the Aviane may make the acetaminophen less effective, not vice versa.

So I think you wouldn't have anything to worry about.  Why don't you call your local pharmacist, to be sure?
