Does the birth control make you gain weight? I heard you can get implanted birth control but I don't wanna get that!!!
I have tried every single hormonal birth control, pills, implant in my arm, shot. They all made me moody and gain weight. If you don't want to gain weight is recommend the non hormonal IUD.
I know it's a scary thought, but I have one and I have no symptoms, no weight gain, no mood swings or irregular periods. Totally worth it. And no hormones pumping through my body!!

Wow!! So if you're on it,and say your bf forgets to use a condom,You want get pregnant still? Cause these days now any protection useis NOT 100% !!
I was on NuvaRing..I had no side effects. Since I was irregular I liked it because you know when to expect your period. I chose to stop using it I didnt get pregnant on it so it works.
Okay thank you. I guess if they don't make me gain weight I'll continue taking em.Besides I don't want anymore babies right now!!! Cause they're good pills no side affects except nausea :(
Ya pills are ok i used three diffrent type oviously i got pregnant on each one lol but im sure thats my own fault because im forgetful. I did try the depo it worked great but it makes you gain, i asked the dr why when i switched off it bec i was gainning and getting moddg depressed feelings abd she said its because it stores inside your fatty tissues etc. So yucko to that one and i do hear mpre girls get that depressed feeling when on it also.. Best bet.. Pills if you are not a pill forgetter like myself. Husband and i made it three years with out first baby before Having our second and then.
Yeah same here. I was on them like 3 yrs way before I got pregnant and now I'm taking em again. Just a different kind.I haven't weighted myself lately tho. And I'm 124 pds
I've never gained weight on the pill...I've heard of the depo shot making women gain weight...but everyone's different.
